Spring brings thoughts of bunny rabbits hopping through gardens. So why not make a cute little bunny bag to give a gift in or to collect Easter eggs in. This project is super cute and super easy!
Materials
- Undecorated paper gift bag (with or without handles) preferably white
- Heavy cardstock or construction paper in a variety of spring colors
- A CD or DVD (to be used as a template only)
- A cotton ball
- Scissors
- Glue
- Markers, crayons and/or colored pencils
- Optional: Liquid or dry glitter, tissue paper, other embellishments, such as googly eyes, stickers, foam cut outs.
Steps
- Use a CD to trace a circle on white paper and cut it out. This will be the bunny face.
- Draw and color in the eyes, nose, mouth and whiskers.
- Draw one large bunny ear on white paper. To match the other ear, cut the first one out and trace onto white paper.
- Repeat with the pink paper, making the bunny ears smaller than the white ones. Cut out and glue on top of the white bunny ears.
- Glue the white bunny ears onto the back of the bunny face so they stick out behind the face.
- Glue the bunny face onto the front of the bag.
- Draw a bunny body on the bag (optional).
- Glue a cotton ball onto the back of the bag to make the bunny tail.
- Add glitter or other embellishments (optional).
- Have fun with your new bunny bag!
