Top Baby Names

 

Across the nation, the top baby names for boys and girls reflect an ongoing interest in the old-fashioned combined with a trend toward the new-fashioned. The list includes several names my mother has never heard of, as well as several deemed too historical for my grandmother. I haven't seen the Oregon-specific list yet, but from my close engagement with tons and tons of local littles, I wouldn't think it would vary much from the national list.
