This Portland-based family photographer does not remember a time when she did not own a camera. Honing her craft in high school, and then in college, she has gone through life with a true zeal for photographing people. Posy’s passion for portraits blossomed with the birth of her daughter in 2007; with her new addition came a sharper focus on family and children photography and the launch of her business.
Posy connects with people very naturally and thrives on building relationships with families over time, capturing their change and growth as their personal family photographer. She prides herself on “being able to enter a child’s world without disrupting it,” and her clients rave about her approach and 'way with people big and small.”
It is Posy’s distinct goal “to capture the spirit behind the eyes” of each child. Her specialty is on-location and natural light lifestyle photography, though she does provide in home and studio photography as well. In addition, Posy offers maternity, professional headshots, birthday party photography, engagement photos, high school senior portraits and other family-oriented and important moments photography.
While Posy is based in Portland, she does travel throughout the Portland Metro area and beyond. Posy prefers to come to her clients to capture them where they are most comfortable, allowing for a more personal portrait.
